Jon Oliver, AKBD

Jon has been practicing residential kitchen and bath design since 2002.  His beginnings in the building industry were at the age of 8, dusting the shelves and the sorting inventory of his dad’s lumber company in Huntington, IN.   He pursued a career in Sports Management, while playing golf and studying at Indiana University.  His love for construction once again called after college and he went back to work for his father.  Selling everything from nails to cabinetry helped to give him a solid foundation of the building process and products.

Designing kitchens and bathrooms soon became a full time occupation, leading to opening of Indiana Kitchen Company in 2008.  Jon’s construction knowledge and design ability have allowed him to help dozens of homeowners complete their dream projects.  His ability to listen, understand, and relate to his clients has made each project more rewarding for him and the client.

In his free time, Jon enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with his wife and son.  Currently, he is furthering his education through the NKBA and is preparing to take the CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) exam this fall.
